Kristen started skating at the age of 9 in Chicago, Illinois. From the moment she stepped out on the ice, she knew she had an instant passion for figure skating. She traveled the country to work with some of the best coaches in the sport, which eventually brought her to Colorado Springs to train with Kathy Casey and Janet Champion at the Broadmoor World Arena. Under their tutelage, Kristen became a Gold Medalist in Freestyle and Moves in the Field, Regional and Sectional Champion, National Competitor, International Medalist, and Novice and Junior Team USA Member. Kristen joined the Family Sports and South Suburban Coaching Family in December of 2016. She enjoys coaching all ages and levels and looks forward to watching our skaters progress and succeed!
